Cogitum Co-Citer is a tool for creating collections of texts from the Internet. It automatically captures the selected text, its Internet address, its title and date of adding to the database.
The program even allows you to assign your own comments and place it to a specified folder. Once a text has been grabbed, you can:
- Create and manage new collections;
- Create and manage folders for organizing texts;
- Add comments about the grabbed text;
- Sort records according to various criteria;
- Follow the link associated with the grabbed text just by clicking on it;
- Import/export collections to work with them at other computers, to split a large collection into smaller ones, or to combine small collections into a larger one;

Neben den Standardfunktionen eines Webbrowsers bietet Abolimba Multibrowser eine Vielzahl von leistungsfähigen Zusatzfunktionen, die ein angenehmes Surfen ermöglichen:
- Abolimba-Gruppen: Beliebige Favoriten (bzw. Bookmarks) können in Gruppen zusammengefasst und mit einem einzigen Mausklick gemeinsam aufgerufen werden.
- Oft besuchte Internetadressen können mit URL-Kürzeln versehen werden. Über die Eingabe der Kürzel in das Adresseingabefeld können die Seiten schnell aufgerufen werden.
- Mittels Suchmaschinen-Kürzeln oder der speziellen Suchen-Symbolleiste kann sehr einfach in verschiedenen Suchmaschinen gesucht werden. Die Abolimba-Suchleiste erlaubt desweiteren die gleichzeitige Suche in mehreren Suchmaschinen.
- Es ist ein Werbe-Blocker und ein Popup-Killer integriert. Diese verhindern das Laden von Werbebannern und das Öffnen von Werbefenstern
- Übersichtliche Anzeige von Nachrichten verschiedenster Anbieter (über RSS/XML-Dateien), Vorschau und Aufruf der Nachricht
- Der integrierte BookWatcher dient zur Suche nach Büchern, CDs & DVDs bei mehreren Internethändlern
- Oft verwendete Browsereinstellungen (z.B. Schriftgröße, An- und Abschaltung der Anzeige von Bildern, ...) sind direkt in der Symbolleiste verfügbar
